About Mrs. Hodges
This is my 14th year teaching and my 9th year teaching at PES. I love being a part of the Potomac team! I graduated from Ohio University with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2006 and moved to Virginia to begin my teaching career. I taught Kindergarten for 5 years in Westmoreland county before taking a year off to stay home with my children. I then opened a daycare center and now have 2 centers with a total of 100 children. I came to Potomac in 2014 and have taught 2nd grade for 7 years and 1st grade one year.
I love children and have been a certified foster parent for 12 years and have had 24 foster children placed with me. My husband and I have 5 children at home ages 10 -17. We also have 2 dogs. I love to spend time with my family and enjoy watching the boys soccer/football/baseball games, swimming in our pool, fishing and we love riding our side by side on our wooded trails! My husband and I love to travel to new places and hike! I'm a huge fan of music and love going to concerts with my friends! I also enjoy reading, shopping, watching movies, and playing games with friends!
